Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is a community of people who support each other in order to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors. We welcome everyone who feels they have a problem with food. If Emerson gave us a new view of America and American thinking, Thoreau gave us a new way of living and a new vision of each individual. This course has 4 DVDs with a total of 24 talks. We will start this series of classes on January 4th 2026. 5th Sunday Format (even though it is only the fourth Sunday) The Committee on Ministry meets every 4th Sunday after service. Members are welcome to join us to discuss any aspect of church operations or concerns with those operations or with other members. Earth Day Festival planning committee extra meeting at 5:30 at the church. We are getting close to Festival which will be held on April 18, 2026. The theme will be Planet vs Plastic. This meeting is open to all members, friends, outside groups, and individuals who would like to help create the next festival. Join us for an afternoon of connection, learning, and pure fun on Saturday, March 28th, from 2:30 to 6:30 PM.
What’s on the Agenda? We’re kicking things off with a delightful Pie Social! But it’s more than just dessert; it’s a chance to mingle and swap brilliant ideas with friends from other congregations. You’ll get to pick a topic table and dive into engaging discussions about how different churches handle specific, important aspects of church life.

After our topic talks, we’ll gather for a warm welcome, sing some funny songs, and tackle the “BIG QUESTION” in group discussions before summarizing our collective wisdom.
